The 6th International Conference on Educational Innovation seeks to promote and facilitate experimentation and innovation among teachers, managers, entrepreneurs and all those interested in education, closer to the best national and international experiences by connecting them with experts and showing them what other educators are doing in the area of educational innovation.
CIIE offers you more than 600 experiences between research papers, presentations of innovation, panels, presentation of books, workshops, networking, and presentation of posters by educators and experts from different countries and institutions of around the world.
This year, the Vice-Rectory of International Affairs of Tecnológico de Monterrey has the honor to present a special conference track titled Global Learning.
Global learning is defined as the process of diverse people collaboratively analyzing and addressing complex problems that transcend borders. The track focuses on sharing how through a digital environment and using the appropriate technological tools, it is possible to connect students around the world in collaborative activities that foster diversity, inclusion, appreciation for other cultures and their own.

GLOBAL CLASSROOM FACULTY EXPERIENCES AND AWARDS (11:00 - 12:30)
A panel that brings together professors who have participated in the Global Classroom by Tec de Monterrey program, which aims to link, through digital media and partially, a course of the institution with another course of another international foreign university.
At the end of the panel, faculty who have participated in the Global Classroom program will be awarded in recognition of their outstanding contribution to implement and promote international collaborations through digital environments.

WORKSHOP GLOBAL CLASSROOM BY TEC DE MONTERREY(09:00 - 10:45)
The workshop consists of two main sessions focused on the design of a multicultural collaborative activity and the implementation of the most appropriate technologies for this activity.
It is sought that during the sessions the attendees meet an international partner to collaboratively work in the activities. The sessions will be guided by experts in pedagogical architecture and technologies for education.
SPECIAL PRESENTATION (11:15 – 11:45)
Presentation of “Ocean Health Voyage: Documentary Filmmaking as a Media for a Highly Innovative Online Course” by Ali Habashi, a professor of communication at the University of Miami and an award-winning documentary filmmaker who has covered stories in more than 50 countries.
